Privacy Policy

Kasata Films (the "Company", "we", "us") respects the privacy of visitors to kasatafilms.com (the "Site"). This document explains what data we collect, why, how we use it, and your rights under Israel's Privacy Protection Law 5741-1981, including Amendment 13 which came into force in August 2025.

The Site collects two categories of data:

2.1 Data you provide voluntarily

When you reach out via the contact form, we receive the following details you choose to fill in:

  • Full name
  • Company / agency (optional)
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Project type
  • Brief / inquiry content

2.2 Data collected automatically

  • Browser and device data: browser type, operating system, screen resolution, language.
  • IP address: for general geographic identification (country / region level).
  • Cookies and online identifiers: only if you consented via the cookie banner. See section 4.
  • On-site behavior: pages viewed, time on site, referral source, clicks - only if you consented to tracking.

3. Purpose of Collection

  • To respond to your inquiry, quote request, or consultation request.
  • To improve the site experience and fix issues.
  • To measure site performance and understand which content is relevant.
  • To serve targeted ads on social platforms - only with your active consent.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and Online Identifiers

The Site uses the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Enable basic site functionality (e.g. saving cookie consent). These cannot be refused and do not personally identify you.
  • Performance and analytics cookies: Google Analytics - measures traffic and usage. Loaded only if you consented.
  • Advertising and remarketing cookies: Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram) - measures campaign effectiveness and serves ads. Loaded only if you consented.

On your first visit a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage) and can be changed at any time by clearing the Site's data from your browser.

5. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell or rent your data. Data may be shared with the following third parties only to the extent necessary and for a defined purpose:

  • Web3Forms: A service provider that forwards form submissions to our email. Servers may be located outside Israel.
  • Hostinger: Website hosting provider.
  • Google LLC: If Google Analytics is enabled - for usage analysis. Servers outside Israel (US / EU).
  • Meta Platforms Inc.: If Meta Pixel is enabled - for advertising purposes. Servers outside Israel.
  • Government authorities / courts: Only when legally required.

Cross-border transfers: Some providers above process data in the US and EU. By consenting to the cookies above you also consent to the minimum data transfer required to operate those services.

6. Data Retention

  • Contact form submissions: Retained in our email inbox and CRM for up to 7 years (for business and tax documentation purposes).
  • Analytics data: Up to 26 months under Google Analytics default settings.
  • Advertising cookies: Per provider policy (typically 90-180 days).

7. Data Security

We take industry-standard measures to protect your data (HTTPS encryption, restricted access, strong passwords). That said, no method guarantees absolute protection and we cannot guarantee a security incident will never occur. We will report any such incident in accordance with legal obligations, including notifying the Privacy Protection Authority where required.

8. Your Rights

Under Israeli law you have the following rights:

  • Access: Request to see what personal data is stored about you.
  • Correction: Request that inaccurate data be corrected.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent to cookies and communications at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint: With the Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice - gov.il/he/departments/the_privacy_protection_authority.

9. Minors

This Site is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you discover that a minor has submitted data through the Site, please contact us for deletion.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this document from time to time. The update date is shown at the top of the page. In the case of a material change, we will post a prominent notice on the Site.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This document is governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to it shall be vested in the competent courts of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa district.
